Words from our pumpkin
Hello! I grew in Brith and Grethe's garden the summer of 2021. The garden belongs to Grethe, but Brith suggested to her that her lawn would instead become a vegetable garden. So, all the lawn was transformed to a no dig garden inspired by Charles Dowding. Since Brith is disabled due to severe arthritis, she spends a lot of her time with her sister. Mainly because of the garden and the cats, but also because she needs some help in the daily life.
Already when they started with us vegetables, they had both talked to plant and cats for a long time, so I told them the autumn of 2021 that I wanted to become the picture they used for their web page.
I am proud to be representing their company! They are beginners when it comes to growing vegetables and when they made mistakes, they apologized to us, but they are not so bad at gardening as they themselves think. We loved to be in the garden! The birds started to chirp on the roof, butterflies visited the flowers and worms and snails felt secure there. They use no pesticides and rarely kills someone. I know that because some other of the creatures who ate their vegetables told me that they were allowed to live there, although they ate what Brith and Grethe intended to eat.
As a result, the energy of this garden is awesome. It attracts attention from all over the world. That means from all the creatures of nature. Gnomes and angles visits and that enhances the garden's energy even further.
Today in 2024 the garden's energy is even higher than the first year. They still do not use pesticides and rarely kills someone, and they still view us plants as intelligent beings. Because Brith's health turned worse a year ago, they have not been able to grow a lot this season. It is too much work for one person. So, the garden is wilder now and many plants, worms, insects and other creatures have made this an opportunity to live in this special garden. They all cherish the opportunity to live a life where they are seen as individual persons, which they are. Even the weed cherishes this year, since next year they will have to go. A lot of goatweed (Aegopodium podagraia) has taken over a small part the garden. Brith has told them repeatedly that they cannot stay, so they know that their time in the garden is limited. But this is an experience that helps a whole specie to evolve and spread this feeling of belonging and acceptance to other individuals of their specie.
In contrast to you humans, we creature of nature feels and perceive a lot more of nature and the creation than humans. We alle have joint memory we can access if need be. You humans also have that, but you are not aware of it. So, what we experience and feels in this special garden is instantly available to the rest of our species.
Thank you for reading my tale. Maybe you in the future will think differently of us vegetables and plants and experience us as the valuable beings we are.
